Metal on Merseyside

Metal on Merseyside is a collaborative project involving an academic from Liverpool John Moores University in partnership with a network of key local music industry practitioners. Among other things, the project seeks to promote, preserve, and protect heavy rock and metal music in the Merseyside area. It also aims to support new music and existing artists alongside protecting established venues and creative spaces whilst encouraging and fostering new venues. Metal on Merseyside organises and facilitates events and its website aims to act as a hub for the heavy rock and metal scene within the Liverpool city region.
