Mapping Open Mic Nights

The venues map’s filtering function is a key feature that we’re developing this year. Building on the original map functions, that enable users to search for a venue by name, location, venue type and capacity, we are adding additional more specific filters designed to identify venues by their affiliations, operations, programming and other relevant indicators.

By gradually increasing the number of informative filters, we aim to enable musicians, promoters and gig goers to identify and select the live music spaces best suited to their particular tastes and needs.

The first of these new filters shows our working list of venues that host open mic nights across the region – we currently have 38 listed.
