AI & Music in Liverpool: We Want Your Say
The LCR Music Board’s AI in Music Task and Finish Group is calling on artists, creators, and music businesses across the city region to share their experiences of AI — and help shape what comes next.
The Group has been examining how artificial intelligence is affecting music across the Liverpool city region: the opportunities it opens up and the risks it brings with it. This survey is one of the most important steps in that process — a direct line from the people actually living and working in the local music ecosystem to the decisions being made on their behalf.
The survey covers how artists, creators, and music businesses are currently using AI tools, what concerns or excites them, and what they think the future of music in the city region should look like. It takes around three minutes to complete and is anonymous — providing your email address is optional. If you would like to receive the survey results or be involved in future discussions about AI and music in Liverpool, please include your email address when prompted.
The findings will be published as a short summary on this website, so respondents will be able to see what the wider community thinks. The results will also directly inform the Group’s work on AI and music — including decisions around education, advocacy, and practical support for creators across the Liverpool City Region.
Whether you’re a solo artist, a venue operator, a producer, a music educator, or anyone else with a stake in Liverpool’s music future, this is a genuine opportunity to have your views heard at a moment when AI is moving fast and the decisions being made now will have long-term consequences.
